    ignition timing????

    what is everybody running for timing on modded cars , any info would be appreciated thanks and what is this torque management that people talk about for autos

    TQ manage ment is a program that A4's have that reduces HP as the tranny shifts--can be up to as much as 30%--some delete it all --I typically remove 50% to keep a little protection behind for the drivetrain and tranny--When fully activatited it will make your engine lose momemtum when it shifts--killing your ET's.but it will save your trany from violent shifts and breaking parts--pretty much a judgement call on what you want to risk to go faster without making more HP---On my application after removng 50% I gained a 1/4 second in the 1/4 mile ET-----and that is without adding any mods or power adders
