I want to learn how to tune is this a good book?

Like the title states is the Link (book) a good start to learn how to tune. I am getting HP tunnes and a laptop for Christmas. Other suggestions are welcomed. Also if anyone is near me that wants a student, I am all ears.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

I have that book, it's ok, but a bit confusing if you're not familiar with cars and how the systems within a car work together. I learned a good bit from it, but had to reread every other paragraph to get what the author was trying to say, he tended to use technical terms and not explain the term until a paragraph or two later. Other than that it's a good read imo.

Greg's book is pretty good; gives a good overview of the process.

I would love to go to this. It is a class on HP tuners. Has anyone attended this class?

from what I understand is an online tutorial you take and watch at your own pace. I'd love to do it as soon as I have time.....i thought I'd get into hptuners and do all the changes I wanted and be done with it.....i was so wrong, there are so many things to learn and variables that can come into play.
gotta give it up to Steve, he knows his stuff, and maybe after years of learning I might too

I did not go to the class but the learn@home course is what I have. The books are great and it taught me how to tune my car with no issues.

Ouch! Perhaps I should change it-- Wouldn't it be great to know how to super-tune it yourself?
