Exclamation I need help, 97 Vette Tune

Hey dudes, I want to start modding my Vette shortly (not really cause I need to be faster, I just hate having a car that runs stock times). I need to do the following to my car.....plz keep in mind that I'm new at this.

    1) Turn off EGR (I think once I replace the Intake Manifold it effective turns it off, I just dont want some engine light or code thrown)

    2) Delete Rear Oxygen Sensor (cause Cats are gay are they're coming off)

    3) Turn off TPMS (I have aftermarket tires and rims, so this needs fixed ASAP)

    4) Reverse the function of the Traction Controll switch (so it starts off and when pressed turns on, also needs to NOT have the DIC msg when off)

    5) Callibrate Speedo for Gearing

    6) Easy to use

Again, if this all sounds noobish I'm srry. The only programmer I could find was the HyperTech III, and I dont think it can do ANY of those..... If possible I can have a shop do it, but I wouldn't have a clue who can do it, or if they would be willing to fuck with emmisions shit. Again, this is a 97 Vette, not a 99 so I know that limits me alot =(

    Thanks!

for ease of operation, the vinci tuner will be your best choice.

    1) can be turned off based on which preset tune you use

    2) can be turned off based on which preset tune you use

    3) no tuning software that i'm aware of does this. how come you did not swap the TPMS out of the old rims to the new ones?

    4) no tuning software that i'm aware of does this.

5)corvettes do not need the speedo corrected when you do a gear swap. the sensor reads off the ring gear and not off the trans output shaft like the f-bodies.

To your first question, I didn't do it. I bought the Vette with the Y2K wheels (think they're replicas but they are still very nice, better than any 'knockoff' i've seen) So if you know a way to turn off the TPMS let me know. And as for the Traction Controll, someone told me that a kit is made to do that, but I've yet to see one.

And thanks for the link. Helps alot.

again, i don't know of anyway to delete the TPMS from the PCM. seeing as you have replica corvette wheels, just go to the dealer and buy the sensors and have them installed into the wheels. they are valve stems with the monitoring system attached to them. they may need calibrating at the dealer, not sure though. do that and you are done.

    here's pic of them

goes onto the wheel like this
