2 of my friends have em and love em. I've heard from several others that they're usually only off by a couple of horsepower. Kind of on the expensive side. DiabloSport is coming out w/ "Trinity" soon & there are several other meters including one that's made by "Greddy"... Check em all out.

I have the RR - for multiple cars. It's a totally cool tool. After some practice you have your own personal pocket sized dyno.

The SS will only store data and setup for one car. Also it doesn't have the capability to store the results to your PC. I think I have that right.
The RR will allow setups for 4 cars and you can save your data to your PC and send those files to be compared or viewed with someone else.
If you want to save money and have the RR features then look for an older Competition model.
My suggestion is to not buy one impulsively. Some people seem to have no use or good words for these accelerometers. Personally, I really enjoy mine but it is important to have a good place to test your car without danger or tickets.

I have the cheap original version. ($20 on ebay) and like it. I just use it to compare mods. I can't wait to make a run after the heads and cam. I had my 0-60 time down to 4.2 before the heads and cam. I'm really curious to see where it'll be this time. Do I swear by those numbers? Nope, but they're probably close and I do it the same exact way each time on the same piece of road so for using it as a comparison deal it works for me.

The cornering G forces are fun. I use mine for that the most. I got the SS model, but I want to upgrade it to the RR for I can upload the data to my PC and post stuff from it.

The RRs are going to be $299 and the SS $199 almost everywhere unless you watch ebay for a better deal. Be careful with that if you're a purist because although I got my RR for $270 it came with the box inside out. The retailer apparently wanted to save pennies by using the box as the shipping container so they took the time to cut the box apart and reform it inside out. It was crazy.
