Frost Tune ?/help
I read enough threads to know he does good work but I am unsure on how to fill out the sheet you can download from the web site and am unsure on what to send or not to send as far as computer goes, help me out guys! The cheapest dyno tune in my area is 450 bucks so I figured why not send it to frost while the weather is still iffy, his tunes are comparable to a dyno tune, correct?

taken from his site:
PLEASE do not send ANYTHING except the PCM and worksheet. PLEASE do not ship the plastic PCM bucket or the PCM seals. If you have removed the seals, re-install them on the harness connector before re-installation, not the lip on the PCM.
The form is also pretty self explanitory....what questions specifically do you have?

just send him your pcm only along with the form. list all mods done to the car (P&P TB,intake, ect)what type of transmission(A4,M6) if nothing is done to the car and it is all stock just leave the mod part blank and in the notes tell him it is all stock

Well I have never removed a pcm before so basically that's where I am stumped on what ships after I take it out, pcm bucket? Plastic seals?

the pcm sits in a plastic bucket under the cowl on the passenger side. The only thing you need to send is the pcm itself....not the plastic bucket. The seals are too the 2 big connectors (red and blue) that plug into the pcm. Those seals should be put back on your connectors and not left on the pcm. You'll see what he means after you pull it all out......I think you're probably just over thinking it. It'll all make sense after you get it out.

Cool, is he as good as a dyno tune? Its an lq4,ls6 intake, lt's,ory, magnaflow cat back, tsp torquer v2 cam, p an p ls6 stage 3 heads, 42 lb injectors, 25 % ud pulley, 85 mm maf, 410 rear, m6 car. I think that's all, I can remember anyway. Should I ditch the slp maf or keep it? Heard they mess with a tune.

Oh I forgot, right now it has a ported stock tb, thinking of getting an 85 mm before tune

frost is bad ass......you need to talk to him directly about tuning that. He's tuned a ton of cars and has a ton of experience. That being said you have an awful lot of mods for a mail order. Frost is the one you need to ask about that and see what he thinks.
