    Engine help....

Not sure if this is the right place.. as I have a few questions...

I just bought an 87 Trans Am that supposedly the owner put in a 383 out of a truck. Now I haven't pulled it yet to run the numbers... but I am assuming it was not done correctly...

They put the stock TPI manifold back on.

Did the Chip need to be swapped out?
Did the injectors need to be changed?
Did the Throttlebody need to be upgraded?

What SHOULD be done going from a 305 to a 383... so I can make sure this engine is done the right way.

    Thanks.

the chip would need to be modified to get it running correctly.
    1987 had 22# injectors. to run a 383 i was using 24#.
    i upgraded to a 52mm on mine.
