emissions and the camaro
i would like to get rid of the cats, air pump ,egr, and get the off road headers,
is there a way to pass emissions without the equiptment on the car?, i can pass inspection cause i know a guy but i would like to get rid of the un nessasary weight and epa bulls#%t

do they sniff it? visual? just run codes and check the SEs light?

my emmissions station plugs in a computer to the diagnostic port and sticks a probe in the exhaust while rpm is at 2500

I dunno if you could pass the sniffer without cats. Some say you can with a good running engine I wouldn't get rid of them though

Yea, normally you can find ways around the ODBC computer check but sniffer tests usually will fail a no CAT car.
