Unless you have a sniffer test or visual it shouldnt. OBDII will be fine

It all depends on how your tuner set it up... there are many approaches but only one does what you are looking for.

I think the EGR has to be enable, i dont know much about tuning but if you reinstall the EGR and have it functioning,if the tune only turns the light off, it should be good.

I guess my question would be is that if the tuner set it to "no report" will I still pass smog?

so long as it doesn't report, then they won't see it.

Either way you will fail. You may pass the ASM 50/15 and the 25/25 (Functional Test) depending on the test limits, but you WILL fail the Visual... The catalyst label lists the emmisions systems on your car and will list that and it will be marked as missing or modified. Why did you take off the EGR in the first place??

It depends on the enforcement of your state. I am not up to speed on what is current, but somethings don't change.
Many states now do the OBD II test in place of the IM 240. And if you clear codes and pull in, you will fail.
The reason is there are readiness tests that the computer runs. If they are shown to not be run, you can't complete and won't pass. You need a drive cycle to do the test, which is what the old IM 240 test did. If there was a fault, it would turn on during the test, due to readiness monitors being activated.

Well if you're reinstalling the EGR then you'll be good as long as readiness monitors and such have been ran. Hopefully the EGR is still operational in the PCM and it's just that the code has been removed. Not sure about the tuning side of it but as long as that is there you should be good.
