Which ECM system to use?

Ok real quick background, I have a 99 Firebird which was a V6. I am building a 6.0 for it now(nothing stock) and I am looking for a engine harness. But I'm planing on playing with the car, I don't think the stock injectors are going to work ect.
Here's my question for you racers out there. I have been able to find a new style harness with new computer E67 (maybe not sure on computer number).
That computer is what runs newer models. Or I can get the engine harness for that year car which will use the computer that came in that car with a V8 in 99 or 00. Which is better for programing or are they the same. Or is there a better complete system out there I am missing. Thanks for the help

i'm not up to date on the E67 PCM. personally just get a 99-02 f-body harness and PCM to use.
