Diablo Tuners
Are they any good... I am getting my car dynoed and tuned this weekend and he said i will have to buy the diablo for him to tune is and for future upgraded use that again... is it a smart move?? He carries just diablo nothing else..

They're good for what they were intended to do - don't want to buy one just for a tune though?

I want a programmer for the extra hp until i do a h/c package and then i will go LS1 Edit and he does ls1 edit i just have to provide the software

The diablo has some pretty decent capabilities. LS1 Edit has more, but its not very user friendly, over priced, and you need a laptop...which may or may not be a problem.

For a hand held they are good. You can't compare apples to oranges. LS1 Edit is not a general consumer tuning software.....It's not user friendly until you get used to there software. In my opion HP's is more user friendly on the high end software.
