Diablo Predator software

I have a predator for my 99 Firehawk and wondering what program will open the grg. file so I can read it. The current predator does not let you eliminate the rear 02's, so I emailed my tune to Diablo for them to eliminate my rear 02's - car wouldn't run with the tune they sent back to me - installed my original tune and the car runs fine again, but SES light on for rear 02's. I wanted to open the file to take a look. Any help would be great

I more thing, when I run my logged data on my PC I notice a reading from the knock sensor only when I shift gears (M6)- could I be shifting hard enough to trigger the knock sensor? rpm runs up to 6000 with no knock or problems and then I grab the next gear and a knock of 2.5 is there and gone quickly and doesn't come back until the next gear is grabbed. just looking for thoughts on this.

not sure on the file as far as what it opens with. Do you have anything banging on shifts such as your Y-pipe or anything? It's possible you are triggering it on the shift but it could also be your AFR or spark. How much spark are you running and have you tried lowering it to see if the knock is still there? You could also put some 100 octane in it and see if it goes away.

you can not open the tune files... you'd need to have their dealer/tuner CMR Tuning Software...

all you need are the rear O2's disabled?? do you still have CAT's???

email me a copy of your original backup tune file, and also a copy of the current tune that is in your car right now, I can do it for ya... diablo.help@gmail.com

I sent the program to Mike@diablo and the car wouldn't run with the program he sent me. Will I be able to change parameters once the 02's are deleted or do I need to send the program back for every change I make?

yes, you will still be able to adjust everything that you can currently....

need to send me the original backup tune file...

and also need to send the current tune that is in your car now, which when using the dsdownloader to export it, is called the "last tune written"

Blownh2x -- I just spoke with Mike at diablo...

he said for you to get back in touch with him and he'll see if he can figure out why you're having an issue...

send him a copy of your original backup tune, and also a copy of the last tune written.

I sent him the files again on 3-25-09 and haven't heard from him. I'll send them again today. Everything seems to download and upload fine, but the car starts and immediately dies. Thanks for your help

I just checked in with Mike.. he said he's received your stuff and is waiting for their tuner to take a look at it and see what the issue is...

I have still not received any form of communication from Diablo about this little problem.

I have left my cell number in some of the emails just in case there were any questions about what I was doing on my end. This is the type of situation that makes little problems turn into bigger problems. I guess I should have done my homework better when I decided to purchase a Diablo product. I thought Diablo stood behind there products and actually developed software to tune vehicles. I guess deleting the rear o2's is too much seeing my car doesn't run with their custom program only the basic program. Spending my money on a custom tune at a shop and not with Diablo would of bypassed this problem.
