i hear that you can buy "tickets" to allow you to tune your car with a diablo tuner that is licensed to another car. is this true? and where and how much can i get em

no, it is not true....
once an original backup is created from a vehicle, the predator is then locked to that vehicle, and will only work on that particular vehicle. no if's, and's, or but's....
can't tune 2 vehicles at the same time with a single predator.06MonteSS

Only tune one car at a time. You can read/clear current codes and see real time data on other cars though - I've used mine on my neighbors Saturn and my girlfriends Cavalier.
