I am not sure with efi live because I have HP Tuners. I would half the trans upshift torque reduction table and disable the abuse in the trans section. Make sure you increase the base shift pressures too. This is for an A4. I wouldn't disable all the torque management unless you want to buy another tranny. I would also install a 2-4 corvette servo. This will give you firm shifts at mid throttle and it will bark the tires between shifts at wot.

i purchased a 4l60e from goodfellas out of florida it already has the corvette servos and is suposedly able to handle up to 550 hp and 600 ft/lbs trq so i dont think that deleting the torque management will have to much of an effect on the car, considering i dont have that much power going to the flywheel anyways. thanks for the help guys. i regret not getting an hp tuner when everyone else is using it.

I always leave it up to the customer, or only take half if they aren't sure. Almost all of them want it all gone, especially after you feel the difference. I have watched all of these cars run on the street and track over the years. Most of them last longer than people on the boards seem to think that they will. They break with full or moderate tq mngmnt when it's their time too.

Isn't there engine torque management and transmission torque management? I thought you zero out the engine torque management and half the trans torque management. This way your tranny will last a little longer.

What exactly does torque management actually do in terms of driveability and power??
I have an M6 in my T/A, but I know my GTP has TM, just curious as to what exactly it does.

pulls lots of timing around shift time and can lift throttle on some ETC applications

tq mngmnt really kills engine momentum during the shifts. Couple that with tight factory converters and the cars just feel dead in the shifts.
