    code readers not powering up

    this has happened to me twice now. first time , i blew a head gasket ,took it to a shop and their code reader wouldnt power up when plugged in under the dash. then i had gotten my own obd2 code reader it worked for a week then the same thing. it wont power up. WTF?

    Sounds like you're blowing the "CIG/ACCY" fuse inside the car, is the cigarette lighter working?
