Can a tuner help me just yet?

Hello Guys,

I have a 98 forumla M6 with the following mods.

Aluminum flywheel
Stage I clutch
SLP air lid
The common egr/mass screen mod
NO cats

I'm looking at buying the EFI Flash Scan. My next mods are cam/headers and/or a supercharger. I know I will need it for those, but if I get it now. What kind of performance gains do you think I will get?

I have 313hp 322ftlbs at the RW as of the clutch and flywheel. Have not gone back to the dyno since all the other mods. According to the dyno I was running rich. So I'm assuming if I'm still runnig a little rich, I could use the tuner to adjust my fuel to get a better mixture. Although my new mods might have given me enough more air to level it out. Thats another benefit for the tuner if I'm correct the scanner can tell whats coming out my exhaust like the dyno guy could correct?

you should be able to see relatively good gains even with the few mods you have currently.

Since you already know that path you plan to take will require it, you may be better of getting it now and becoming familiar with it before you get the supercharger. Similar tuning procedures will apply later, but it would be easier IMO to learn the software now and how to tune with boost later.

And yes, you should see a decent gain now with a better tune.
