what is done to the car? assuming its stock it might be more beneficial to wait on the tune until you do some modifications. That way your not spending money twice.
That being said i sent my PCM to Frost for a mail order tune and couldn't be happier. However i do plan on getting it Dyno tuned once i install long tubes.

Like said already, it mainly depends on what you have done to your car. If you have basic bolt-on modifications such as a lid, TB, exhaust, LT's, etc...you will benefit from something like a mail order from Frost. However, if you are talking about a tune after internal engine modifications like a cam, then an actual DYNO tune need will be needed.
A DYNO tune on-site will be the most beneficial tune overall, but it is also a lot more expensive than the mail order.
The important thing is that your car is running properly; not too lean.

Hey Larry,
It's true because HPT has to get five thousand million credits before yr models are unlocked for late model stuff. I have email programs that vary by car and you get a little more out of them than a one-shot tune. They include cfgs for logging, the base file, and instructions on how to log. You get two updates included based on logs.
