    AIR delete?

i own an 02 Z28 and have absolutely NO experience tuning. i removed my AIR system and used block off plates, but of course i have an SES light. i would like to delete this but don't want to change anything else. any way of doing this without breaking the bank? TIA.

Look in your local phone book for shops that have a dyno or do tuning - around here most shops charge their minimum 1 hour rate to delete codes or change minor settings.

They should know. I think after P0410, P0412 and P0418 are gone it keeps the other AIR codes (like P1415, P1416, etc) from illuminating the light. Let them decide, that way if they forget one they should fix it free.

You will also have to disable the AIR diagnostics to prevent the code from coming back.

Do you have any tuning software? I know you can disable these diagnostics in the CATS/JET DST tuner.

    Why disable AIR?
    New headers without provisions?
    ...it's not a "performance mod"

no, absolutley no tuners/software or experience. i have no intention of screwing with the tune besides deleting these codes so i can stop looking at the SES light.
