Aeroforce pt401 scan gauge on my 1998 trans am

I recently purchased a brand new PT-401 scan gauge from Maryland speed. For some reason when I go to IAC counts it displays 0 no matter if the car is at idle or revved up. Has anyone else had a issue like this. Pisses me off I have e mailed them and posted on their forum with NO help offered. Not even a week old

Maybe you have a vacuum leak.
If it still idles with the IAC closed (@ 0 counts), that indicates a vacuum leak.

Wouldnt I have other issues (poor idle) running like crap etc if there was a vacuum leak. Plus I would figure there would be some sort of fluctuating when I hit the gas whether it went up then back down something indicating it is reading! It stays dead on 0 no matter on or off revving or idle!

I had a PCV vacuum leak. Only real symptom I had was a slightly high idle (almost unnoticable 100 higher). My IAC counts were at zero. But I think you're right, it probablly would bump up a little bit while your driving around for the Throttle Cracker function.
