Advice on programmer for tuning???
OK, so I have 1999 Firehawk and looking for a tuner that will work for my situation. For engine performance the vehicle has a lid, K&N, and SLP dual dual cat back exhaust. I'm adding headers(with emissions tubes), ORY(no cats),160 or 180degree thermostat. The only other thing that may do to the car in the future would be a gear swap, but not for awhile. This is a daily driver in the summer so I want reliability, a little more power, and a louder exhaust. I'll need to tune the vehicle for the added things and delete the rear O2 sensors and possibly change the gear ratio later. Something around $400 or less that can read and clear codes from other vehicles as well as tune my car. What should I buy.
Hypertech
Diablo Predator
Granatelli

If you can afford it and the time. HPTuners is a better choice.
But it sounds like you won't be tuning too much.Black 1999 Blown Convertible A4

I was leaning towards the Diablo Predator, but want some advice to others who have used these products. I won't be playing with it much, thanks for the quick response.

With your mods I would go with a mail order tune, they can do everything your looking for and more. I recommend Steve from lsxtune.com.

SO, how do I delete the rear o2 sensors with the diablo sport programmer? I don't see an option for this and the instructions are very minimal at best. There is a value for COT I can change which I have no idea about. If this is what I need to change, do I go to 0 or make the reading higher? any help would be appreciated. headers, ory, stat are all installed now.

COT means cat over temp. It's a protection for your cats to keep them from running to hot. If you no longer have cats then zero that out. I want to say the option for rear O2's is in the diagnostic menu but it's been a while. If you have a newer diablo I'm not even sure they support that anymore.
