98 t/a delete cats, air, and egr

so whats needed to delete the AIR EGR and CATS codes off of the computer so i can delete these items

cats have been gone but EGR just started tossing a code at me and everytime i erase it it just comes right back so i figured it was time to delete all of this useless junk....so what do i need to get all of this deleted or do i have to take it to somewhere like vengeance(20 mins away)

p.s. my state doesn't have a visual inspection so i'm not worried about ditching this stuff just need the codes off the computer

I think that can be done with software like LS1Edit and HPTuner, but I'm not positive.
Can they tell if the codes have been deleted?

Yes, you can use tuning programs like LS1 Edit and HP Tuners to delete the codes.

And no, the codes will not show up as deleted, they will just come up as "system ready" or "not available", meaning there are no faults detected, so it will pass an OBDII check no problem.

Guys. What do you think is the best? LS1 Edit vs. HP Tuners vs. EFILive?
