05 cts-v po300 after camswap

ok i seem to get a po300 on my gfs cts-v after taking the sl6 cam out and sticking a gm hot cam...

i know what a po300 is i just tuned the car up 2 weeks ago never had an issue...

all 8 are picking up a mis. i know there is no mis but what would u do to keep from tossing the light. i can take out the p0300 but thats the last thing i wanna do...

this is a common code with cam swaps you can adjust the misfire table up so it is less sensitive to misfires which would solve the light you have. what happens is the pcm sense misfire by watching crank speed the cam makes the crank speed change in bigger swings thus tricking the computer into thinking its misfiring

ok and what would u set them 2? right now they are at 32767. im going to assume to take it down 10% till it stops kicking the light on

Go to hptuners forum and post up there I'm still new to the whole hptuners thing and I'm trying to learn. However I dont think you want to lower the values as thats telling the pcm less variations in crankshaft speed are acceptable thus making it even more sensitive raising the values is what I believe you should do.
