$100/hr dyno tune
a shop by me wants $100/hr to dyno tune. is that a good price and how long does it take to tune?

I thought a few hours. Shops by me, depending on what you want, will charge anywhere from $250-$600.
What mods do you have on the car?
You know, a lot of people in this forum get their cars tuned by FROST and are VERY happy with it.
FROST, chime in and get this kid squared away!

There are many many approaches to tuning, so this is hard to say. At LEAST half of the time I spend tuning is on the street going over driveability tuning. If the tune is dyno-only that may be ok if you have boltons, but it wouldn't be acceptable for cars that have aftermarket camshafts. Driveability tuning is more time consuming and much more difficult than WOT tuning. WOT tuning is easy. What is your setup?
