will this work>?
I have a 1998 trans am a4. This might be a stupid question but i have a chance to get a 12 bolt out of a 1970 chevelle. Will this fit or can i make it fit?

personally. id take the ls1 and put in in the chevelle

Like said before, it can be made to fit. If your planning on using abs or retaining TCS (if your car came with it) I'd look else where.

you will have to fab a mount for you torque arm.you mite have to narrow it and get different axles with the correct rings for abs.and many other modifications.I feel it would be way cheaper to buy a rear end, 12 bolt,9",etc,that is a direct bolt in.I have seen used bolt in rears for $1800 plus shipping.
