Why all the sudden
So I have Owned My 99 M6 Z28 since september 2007. Its got a 9" rear end and some after market control arms (not sure what brand but they are not adjustable) anyways I have never had any trouble with wheel hop but now all of the sudden this thing wants to beat it self to death if do a burnout. I bottomed it once and hit the sub frame connector pretty hard a while back and the day I first noticed the wheel hop I had put some air in the tires before I left in the morning.
Any Idea's on what is causing this. I was thinking maybe I killed the shocks or bent something when I bottomed it out but I dont know a whole lot about wheel hop or what causes it. Any Advice is very appreciated.
Thanks

You should put it up on stands and check everything. Make sure nuts and bolts are tight....all that stuff. Take some measurements of the rearend alignment and make sure it's square. Also check your pinion angle, if you have an adjustable torque arm make sure the adjuster nuts are tight too. Nothing would just change on it's own for no reason.
