    wheel hop?

    i just recently finished an 8.8 with 4.10 gears, it has the mini ladder bar setup. my question is when i shift at 6k the rearend bounces, would this be due to shocks and springs or lcas? since both are stock. it only does it when im shifting at high rpms.

    I can tell you that I used to have alot of wheel hop. I replaced the LCA's, LCAs relocation brackets and panhard bar. I don't have the terrible wheel hop anymore. If your shocks and springs are pretty old I will throw new ones in. But I will get aftermarket LCA's and panhard bar 1st.

    i plan to do all that over the summer, I think im gonna do shocks first though.

    The stock LCA's and panhard bar are stamped steel and quite flimsy. You can actually twist them with your hands. I would start there unless you know for a fact that your shocks are worn out.

    ooo...got any pics of that? Sounds interesting!!

    Is this the setup at eliminates the torque arm? Is that any available adjustments with that mini-ladder bar setup?

    I had crazy wheel hop also, like was said earlier I just put in new tubular LCA's and relocation brackets....it's gone.
