What options on 9"
Im gonna go with a 9" rearend this summer and I want to keep it as simple as possible. I have a m6 and after this summer I'm looking to have NO more than 400hp, and not a daily driver. I'm gonna be getting it from texas-speed. But I have a few questions.
1. What Yoke 1350 or 1310
2. Full Spool, True Trac Limited Slip, or Detroit Locker
3. 28 Spline or 31
4. What ABS Channel
5. Swaybar bracket options?
6. Lower control arm brackets?
Help with these questions would be great, thanks

go with the 1350 yoke, I have a full spool, it eats up tires, I personally would get a tru-trac, a friend of mine has that and is running a 402 pushing about 500hp with it and its just fine back there no problems yet and takes it to the track almost every weekend and drives it almost every day when its nice out.
get the 31 spilne's to more holding power I have the 35 spline cause I went with the spool.
its going to set you back about 2,600 with the tru-trac
mine was right at 2,200 with spool

That depends on your car. You need to look at the wiring attached to your rear end. If it is attached to the pumpkin then you have a 3 channel. If it goes out to the wheels then you have a 4 channel.
Just installed my Moser 9" over winter break, and I am loving it so far. I went with 4.11s with the Trutrack locker. Mine also came with the 31 spline axles (biggest I could get with the Trutrack), and the 1350. I also went with the optional LCA brackets. The swaybar mount is not really needed, but I would bet it makes the install a little easier.

I went real beefy with mine and glad I did.
Moser 9" houseing and 35 splined axles, Strange Pro-Nodular third member with a billet 1350 yoke, Motive performance 4.30 gears, and a detroit Locker. Absolutely love the locker (daily drive it in the summer) but takes a little time to get used to it.
Also, if you want a good deal on a rearend, Go to Quick performance Raceing on E-bay. They let you build it your way and will beat ANYONES prices you can find. Good folks and had mine custom built up and on my driveway in 4 business days.
P.S.
Make sure you spend the extra $ and get a drain and fill plug. Trust me on this one.Last edited by Jays00ss; 01-24-2009 at 08:29 AM.
