medium blue metallic- 1999 trans am
what angle of driveshaft do i need
im putting a UMI torque arm on my TA and was wondering what angle my driveshaft should be at and all that jazz..any help would be awesome!

1 to 1.5 degree difference than the shafts angle at the pinion in the negative side.
So if the shaft is at 0.0 you want the pin pointing down 1.5 degrees.

Auto or manual? With an automatic transmission you run just a little less down angle than a manual. Negative 1.5 is generally the setup for an auto equipped car.

thanks. i drove it last night and there was a pop/banging noise coming from the back. im guessing thats the issue.

See if you have the same problem as Richws6 mbmta99.
A wrong pin angle will make a strong vibration or a strong shudder under load
