How do I swap/convert my 4L60 (the transmission went out) with a T56!

you really need to think this one through.

what are your plans for the car ? heavy strip? DD? autoX? street bruiser ?

what type of driving to you do mostly ? city or Xway?

durability comes into play also. depending on your mods or even stock. if strip is in the cards even a little with a modded m6..your stock rear will more than likely be toast.

i would challenge to save yourself a boat load of money..get a good stall, circle D or yank and then drive your a4 and see if you still want to swap.
