white- 2000 transam ram air WS6
transmission leak????
hey..
i have oil leaking in the rear 1 or 2 drops a day ..
i looked i thought it was the rear axle but it's more to the front !
any body know where it might be leaking and if it's easy to fix ???
i am gonna try to find it again tommorow but i believe it comes from the transmission.

try replacing the transmission pan

Sounds like the tailshaft seal to me. It seals the yoke to the trans case. They can get hard as rocks and actually wear a grove in the yoke itself.

Sounds like a seal to me as well. Easy fix, just have to remove driveshaft.

You said oil, try to identify if its motor oil or tranny fluid. Then get your car in the air and take a look and see if you can find the leak. You may have to clean the entire underbody and then start it and drive it a bit then get it back in the air to find the leak...
