    2001 CAMARO SS

    transmission fluid?

    Hey all, i have a 01 SS with 49,000 miles and i'm getting ready to change the transmission fluid. It's a manual transmission....stock t56. Any suggestions on the type of fluid to use? I was told redline MTF is great to use. Then someone else told me to stick with Dexron III only. I also heard royal purple was good. What should i go with?
    Also, will this indeed make the shifts feel a bit smoother? Didn't know if there was any truth to that.
