My old friend had a B&M in his 4 drive truck and installed it
in one afternoon... I was not there, in time to help. He did
it fast and never had any issues.

My SS came loaded with one so I cannot help anymore
    then this.

    http://store.summitracing.com/partde...part=BMM-70264

took me a 1/2 hour to install, you need 1 extra hose clamp
put mine sideways over the left fan on the out front run the clips through the rad, hook up to the line that has the clamp on it

Is the stock cooler an external or does it run in the rad like some cars? Also, can i run both coolers in series for even more added cooling?

    Thanks,

    Rob

Stock runs to the radiator. You can run them in series but most likely it would do negative work.. EX... it would be heated up by the coolant.

Gotcha. Guess i could always run a bigger cooler. Isn't it 210*F that the tranny starts to have shit overcooking?

It would work fine IMO. I dont know what GVW weight that cooler handles. I bought mine from Texas Speed 7 years ago.

I also bought a Hi/Low fan switch. When in traffic that is not moving I can turn the fans on to help cool the tranny.

The cooler should be bought at the same time as the stall. It should be put on at the same time also. I would also think of getting a deeper pan. I did not buy the one I am showing you just showing you what it looks like. GM trucks have the deeper pan. I went to a junkyard and got one for 5 dollars.

Heat kills automatic transmissions. All of the above will help keep the heat out. And when it gets really bad turn on your fans.

you will be fine with this cooler and the stall, hook it up to the line that has the clamp in series, the rad is a pre cool, then it goes through the supercooler

Nope, run it through the stock cooler, then out of that to the aux cooler, then back to the tranny, tranny fluid will be way warmer then the water in the Rad.
