    Moser 9"

The S60 mounts to the torque arm so that if it breaks...the whole housing it toast.
Is that rare?? Yes. But if it happens....

I have strange 12 bolt and I suggest you get the Moser 9 with the gun drilled axels.I'll say this strange will not help you if you have problem with there product.

Costs the same as a regular Moser 9" however you still need to buy the third member after words. Not worth the extra $ imo

If only it was that easy on our cars.

Thinking of going to 4.30's with mine (probably will actually).
The D60 is said to be the stronger rearend...I just don't like how the torque arm connects to it. If it goes...the whole rear housing goes.

there is nothing easy about our cars...

4.30s' would be fun for the track... i think 4.55's would make 1st gear completly useless...

Not if you are running a 28" tire.
I have been fighting a bog coming out of the hole, so I figure why not try some gear.
As soon as I have the money.

that is true but if you ordered a moser 9" wouldnt u want a different drive shaft anyway than the stock one?

what i also like is that gm high tech mag has done test on cars that have been equipped with this rearend and dont seem to have any problems i think also that a gm performance parts tester camaro is equipped with the same rear end . i know most of the guys who have swapped their rears on here have used the moser units, but i figure if the mags and such use the s60 it must be good

I trust very little magazines do.
    They have unlimited resources.

All I know....I have a 4.11'd TruTrac Moser 9", with a decent amount of power.
I drop from 6700 at times and have has zero issue (other than a leak, which was my own fault) with the rearend.

Mr. Luos this might sound retarded but why do u want higher ratios? I know a lot of people with strokers and they are downgrading their gears. They can get the motor to spin past 6.5k so i guess the extra power/torque makes up for the higher gear ratios. If u get higher gears, wont u be shifting non-stop and hit ur rev limiter much much faster?
