Red- 2000 Z28
Slave cylinder shimming question!
I have a 2000 Z28 just put a new fidanza lightweight flywheel and spec stage 2 clutch in it. Measured the shim I need to put behind the slave cylinder and it looks to be .70 inches to get it within 1/16th of an inch. Seems big but measured it a few times and seem right. Bought a shim kit but doesn't go big enough. Is this common?

I don't remember what I shimmed mine, but .70 seems like ALOT to me. Did you mean .070 by chance???
