anybody use it? If so, does it add or take away gear noise? Are there any draw backs to using the stuff?

i put it in my car, no problems, the idea of it is to reduce drag from the thick gear oil in ther from the factory i did notice that the royal purple was slightly thinner and is supposed to lower temps
heres a test you can do , get a laser thermo reader and drive your car 10 mile and take the temp do this for 2 weeks every day and note the air temp as well , then change the fluid to royal and do the same test to see if the average temp is lower
i thougt about that after i put it in my rear end other wise i would have done the test
new fluid will not hurt the diff .. only help
