i tried searching and couldnt come up with a solid answer...

well roughly how much does it cost for a good 12bolt rear end setup?

the next car i get will get a whole slew of mods and this is a factor in my deciding if i should get an LS1 or another GN or maybe a Syclone...

well anyways if anyone has some insight or experience with upgrading... that would be great!

Did a moser with adjustable control arms & it was about 3K...

Your looking at the $2600-$3500 range. There is soo many options...... Axles,carriers,c-clip eliminators,and posi types ect.

I'll put a vote in for a Syclone though. PM me your email I have a pic of one that was blowing off 10's on street tires all day at the mile high too.

If you shop around you can sneak out for around 2200 maybe a little less.

depends on the brand.. alot of these price quotes seem quite high to me. My Moser with upgraded 33 spline axles, 1280 yolk, Performance cover, Eaton Posi, and 373s from exoticperformanceplus.com was about 3400$ and that was even on the high side because I ordered it with ABS and TCS provisions (which by the way I never got and just wasted 200$) You cuold get a Strange rear end for even less though. When I first bought mine I thought it was alot of money but if you factor in the costs to beef up the 10 bolt, plus gear swap, and upgraded your posi then you are still looking at well over a grand and have to do more work by tearing it down and still don thav enear as strong of a unit.
