    replace with lt1 rear

    i blow my 99 Z28 rear end the axle shaft came out after power shift to 2nd gear, is the LT1 F-Bodys have the same rear end?or repalce it with one from V6?or its diffrent

    LT1 and V6 rears will bolt in and work. There are a few differences in ABS, traction control and brakes that you will need to consider.

    I'm not aware of any other differences in the axles besides the difference between cars with abs and cars with traction control and ABS

    The V6 doesn't have a LSD, so it would be a downgrade for you.

    The only ones that have it would be '96 and up, that also came with the Y87 performance package. Which is neither rare, nor common. You could always just look at the production tag inside the door of the donor car and if you find "G80" on it, then it's got a posi in the rear.
