    rear end upgrade?

Previous owner of my T/A had the carrier, bearings, seals, 4.10 gears, you-name-it all replaced and upgraded to the Yukon high performance parts. Its still a 10-bolt. From what im reading, people generally dont have problems DDing a 10-bolt especially with an A4 (mine is an A4).

    Enough backstory...

Does anyone have experience with these parts from Yukon?
Im looking to do an H/C/I swap this coming winter...should I be concerned, and not do the swap rather save for a 12-bolt or 9"? Looking to put 450hp down, I also have a 120shot but thats rarely used.

I only plan on driving to work and owning the red lights lol probably no strip racing for me

It is a gamble -- some 10 bolts survive track duty while others break on the street with stock power under the hood. With all the new parts it'll be stronger than stock so you may be ok. Wheel hop and sticky track surfaces will generally shorten the life of a 10 bolt. Unfortunately, the rear is the weakest part from the factory and you just never know how it will hold up.

I do have weld-in sfc and do plan on doing lca's and possibly torque arm upgrade and relocation so hopefully those upgrades can help limit wheel hop and im not running stickies. Im hoping my combo will prolong my rear end life because DAMN a good rear is expensive! Thanks for the response

My stock rear lasted a long time since I had a A4. Even raced on it hard at the track. Never had a issue.
Of course it broke on the street.
