    Rear End Grinding

So about a year and a half ago my rear end bearings were trash I knew it was getting bad when I couldnt hear myself think in the car. Naturally after taking the plate off chunks upon chunks of metal came rushing out too there were no bearings left, the magnet was full and both sides of the gears were ground into paste. The worst I had ever seen.

So i cleaned everything throughly in chem and repacked and replaced some new bearings on each side. However Its starting again and I dont know if its worth redoing the gears again when I could just upgrade to some 3.73s instead of the 3.23s. I dont know why Im chewing up rear end bearings im just not that knowledgeable.

If someone could provide me some advice on what I should do inexpensively to fix the issue I'd appreciate it.

Don't rebuild- trust me. Wasted a grand on that move myself. Save your money and build it bigger- 9", 12-bolt or Dana60.

they is debries in the housing still, probably down the axle tubes all the way down to the axle seals. if you rebuild it it would have to be thourghly washed out or it will wear down again.
