red line, Royal purple, Torco, or lucas are about the best brands to run. Redline is just fine and you don't need posi additive.

lucas is a terrible choice...amsoil or any good regular brand name.Royal purple is over priced junk too.

I would use any dino 80/90 gear oil. Synthetic isn't necesarry. Neither Moser nor Strange recommend syn for their 12 bolts and I used Redline shockproof syn gear oil in my old 10 bolt once and I started getting one wheel peels at the track.

unbolt the 12 bolts around the pumpkin .....inspect the magnet inside the case...clean inside the case with brake cleaner....grab the gasket maker and make GOOD ENOUGH SEAL ON THE CASE WHERE YOUR SURE IT WONT LEAK..bolt it back up....add lube through the back of the pumpkin..there you can just lay your wrench with out any sockets and unbolt

Limited slips have some special lube requirements. Not all rear end lubes are formulated the same. I did a short article on limited slip diff chatter a couple of months back. May be interesting to you.
