    rear end

    man its a bad day i just blow my rear end or maybe its a good day now i can upgrade it but what is better to rebuild it or just jump in for a moser 12 bolt or a 9 in and what gears to put in it any input would help

    Auto go with a 12 bolt with 3.73s
    6 speed go with a 9 inch with 4.10s

    no. you should read the option codes and find out. 2.73's (GU2) 3.23's (GU5) for autos 3.42's (GU6) for M6.

    ok i see i have 3.23 so 3.73 is the way to go . for an auto why not 4.10 whats the difference

    4.10s would absolutey destroy the cars highway drivability. m6s transmissions have a lower output ratio then a4s

    Gear ration will not affect spline count on the axles unless you change the differential etc etc. Gears are a bolt in,then adjust then go thing
