    rear bearings...

So while getting a new torque arm I had the shop drop the rear to put a new seal and gear oil in. Of course there was hardly any oil in there and now I have to get new bearings. Anyone paid to have this done? How much is a reasonable price to pay. I have never had bearings replaced on the rear before.

if it's all six bearings, it'll be about 300-400 dollars.

they said i fried two bearings and it was $230 installed (without the axel.

For anyone who would like to do some PMs on their car, rear end oil would be a great thing to check. I thought it was really something that you did not need to check on especially when there is no oil on the floor in the garage. Just got done replacing an axel and bearings of course oil and seals because I had a teaspoon of oil left.
