Racing w/ Out OverDrive?
Hi, I have a A4 and heard that if I take it out of overdrive when I race it'll make my car alil faster since it's only hitting 3 gears. I'd rather here it from you guys... Anyone?

i've read where some have went quicker putting the selector in 3rd instead of 4th. i tried it, didn't change a thing.

Unless you have some really low gears or a really fast car, you won't shift to
4th in a quarter. Worthless information your friends have told you.

But if your racing from a roll - The tranny will drop gears faster when selector is in 3rd rather than OD.
