    Questions/concerns on drivetrain noise.

    Hello everyone:

My 2000 z-28 with 70,000 miles (45,000 that i have put on). Has recently developed some noises:

    1) The car makes a loud clacking noise as soon as you crank the engine. It makes this noise about 95% of the time.

    2) Recently (last 1,000 miles) I started feeling a vibration coming from under the car at idle, almost as though something was hitting the floor. I have realized its coming from the engine or transmission. The vibration goes away as soon is I give it some clutch. I want to think is the throw-out bearing or even worse the flywheel!?

Has anybody else encountered these problems on your camaros or can anyone help me out diagnose these problems.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

get more specific on the clacking noise and check the trans mount /possible motor mount
