    2001 Trans Am WS.6

    Question putting 3.73 gears into my auto WS6

    I'm putting in 3.73 gears into my car, its a '01 WS6/auto. I know my speedo will be off, but I am wondering on whether the shift points would get thrown off too.

    Also, from switching to 3.23 to 3.73, how much will the speedo be affected? Will it read higher or lower until i get it calibrated again?

    Not sure on the shift points, but to see how it'll affect your speedo check out the calculator at www.f-body.org/gears/
