    PLEASE need answer tonite

I received moser # MSR A102806 ( stamped on box from moser) which state for 4 channel ABS, MOSER # MSR A102805 which states fo 3 channel, so I beleave the box is correct, BUT I think the axel are wrong, these axel DO NOT have the RING at the end for traction control, is it possible ( and how much problem ) to press the rings from my axel and reinstall to the new moser axel, my supplier is going to set up a 3 way call with moser in the morning , but I need to know if THE 4 channel axel SHOULD have the ring allready install , 60.00 differance in price between ondering the 3 channel and ordering the 4 channel ( do nor care about price ) ANY DIFFERANCE BETWEEN THE TWO OTHER THAN THE RING ??, I orded the --806 4 channel thinging I would NOT NEED to remove the ring from my axel

    PLEASE some one explain

Recently I brought 2 moser axles to replace the stock axles which got chewed up by the axle bearings. All it took for me to take out the stock ring disk out was a 3 foot long crow bar. I had one person hold the axle with the studs on top of a wood block and I pry up a lil, then rotate the axle and do it again every 90 degrees until it's off.

As for putting it on a new one, I clean the inside the disk and hammer it on with a hammer carefully and rotate the axle while hammering (again with the studs down on a wood block) and rotate to ensure they're flat and flush with very lil runout.

Most people go to a machine shop or a shop that has a press to get them pulled and pressed on the new axles.
