    Painting Rear End

I want to touch up the paint on my 9" before I put it in my car. What kind of paint should I use? It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something to prevent rust.

you should really use por-15 on it if you truly want no rust ever. Paint will get scratched off eventually and what not...por-15 won't.

+1 -- Apply two (2) coats of POR with a small foam brush. Looks great and is about as tough as you can get.

X3! This stuff is rock hard. Anything else will get scratched up and rust fast just from the install.

What is POR 15 and where do I buy it? I'm assuming that's an abbreviation.

Not really that funny. I thought it was a legitimate question.

it was....just busting your chops a little. Saw that website a few days ago and thought it was hilarious. Anyhow, por 15 is the whip for painting stuff that you don't want to rust or will see some wear and tear on it. I've saw pick up beds done with that stuff and you can't sand that stuff off the paint. Very very durable.
