Oh you poor bastard! I've been having the same problem for about 4 months now. Just got new axles and bearings/ seals and it stopped for a while, but is now making another weird noise! Might be the pinion bearing, but thats another story. Anyway, the 10-bolt is crap for most people. Some guys on here are making ridiculous hp with a 10-bolt, and have no problems, and many others say to upgrade. Get a 12 bolt for an A4 and 9 inch for M6. The setup will cost around 2000 to 2500 and it's way stronger than a stock or rebuilt 10 bolt, for near the same price. Good luck, to you and anyone else who is having 10-bolt problems!
Don't waste the money, do the work yourself!!!! It's easy!!!!
