Need lots of advice!!!
So im stuck here in a dilemma. My DD's 10 bolt is crapping out. Im NOT going to rebuild it because if I ever want to upgrade the powerplant it would be damn near worthless. Im thinking ford 9" but the moser 12 bolt sounds good too. I need to get this situation resolved pretty soon or Ill be walking. Gonna have to borrow some cash anyway to get this done so I might as well go hardcore.
Where can I find complete bolt in(Im doing it myself) rear ends??
and should I go with a ford 9 or a moser 12???

Moser 9 inch or Strange 12 bolt. The Moser 12 bolt has a crappy torque arm mount. There's alot of places you can buy these rears from. May want to find one closest to you to help save on shipping. What makes you think your 10 bolt is dying?

Play. Wheels spin seperately. Total rear end vibration. Loss in power. Dirty dirty fluid. Clanks. Bangs. You name it 70mph is rough.

Well, if you've got a posi, your wheels should spin separately some of the time. But the other junk is definitely not right. You've checked your transmission mount, u-joints, and rear end bushings, right?
A couple of the guys on this board suggest calling Autofab (http://autofabcart.net/) & asking for Josh. They say the guy gives the lowest quotes on a custom rear end. I'd also recommend considering your future power output realistically, so you can make the best choice on the gears, differential, and how strong you need the whole thing to be.

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
Get a 9" with a strange Pro Nodular third member. I think Strange makes a better product but they don't make a 9" for the new Gen f-body.
If you do get a 12 bolt get a Strange they are built much better. But for My first choice a 9" is Cheaper, easier to work on, and a whole lot stronger.2000 SS Camaro Heads, Large cam, Fast 90, 9"w/430's and locker, yada yada yada... you get the picture

I dont like taking my car to the dealer but the vibration is getting worse. I talked to some local f-body people and they are still on their 10 bolt running 11s and have no issues. So im thinking a rebuild now.. once again... I just wish I knew the issue.
