Need Help ASAP!!!!

Ok, the place where I took my X28 to get a gear swap said that everything went well and sounds good, but he said that there is a vibration now around 80-90mph. I bought a new set of richmonds 3.73 and he purchased a new install kit with new bearings and races. What could be the problem? I need advice before I go to get it, all help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

make sure he will stand behind his work if there are any problems with it once you take delivery of it. Get it in writing as well.

i am about to get this done too so i want to know what happens good luck buddy.......by the way what gear did you swap from? and let us know if you like it or not.

I went from stock 2.73's to 3.73 Richmond's, and holy S*** what a differance. I just picked her up, my mechanic was just being really anal, which is good, cause thats exactly how I am. The vibrations were from a the road, I've felt it before sometimes when I'm on a crappy road, which is alot I live in Michigan, but I drove her for about 20 min and everything eccept for a slight whine when she shifts and downshifts is all I hear and thats with the windows up with no radio, if I put the radio at 3 I hear nothing. So I am completely satisfied. With the Mods you have you would really love these gears. Now I need to save up for some headers!

did you have to get it tuned afterwards? also do you think i will notice a difference i have the 3.23 performance axle, and want to go to 3.73 but i am affraid i won't notice a difference.

Yes, my speedometer is off but other than that the car like normal. From what I have read on countless threads that if you have the preformance axel with 3.23's you still will feel a good differance, but I'm probably not the one to ask because I haven't driven one with the 3.23's. Do you have a 6 speed? If so I hear that 4.10's are better for those cars.
