I'm sure if you put it up online there would be lots of people willing to do that swap.
In my opinion i think you're better off selling yours for an auto but if you're up for the challenge a swap is definitely possible. Why do you want to swap? Drag racing? Traffic?

Eventually its going to be just a nice weekend driver/drag. For now it's just traffic. With the cam that's in it and how traffic is here in Dallas it's just murder on my manual. Plan on keeping the manual and rebuilding it.

A built 4L60E will work fine. The 4L80E is based on a Turbo 400 and you definitely have to "massage" the tunnel a bit to get that to fit so it is much easier to go with the 4L60E. Our car runs a Performabuilt Level II with a 3,200 stall and I really like it.

Swapping from a manual to an auto is WAY easier then the other way around. Go for it.

You will have to have it reflashed to a 4l60e operating system I'm pretty sure.
